Seek

Hebrews 11:1 What is Faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.

Psalm 145:13 The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.

The Lod is faithful to all his promises.....I have to believe he knows the fears of my heart and he will not let me drown. When I pray I know God is not going to answer every little thing I ask for. I believe he does that on purpose to force the issue of Faith. Why does it take Faith to walk with God? We have to believe in what we can not see. Only by Faith can we believe in God. God's thoughts and ways our higher than our own. I want to experience Faith based on who God is not based on what he does. God does not call upon us to seek his works. He calls upon us to seek his heart.

How do you seek God's heart? It is all found in the Bible. Rom. 10:17 Faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word of Christ. Surrendering I believe is required also for Faith to exist. We must surrender all. Once we do that our Faith can become complete.

Every morning when I wake up I have to made a decision to surrender all my worries and fears and anxiety to God. Even many times throughout the day I have to continue to surrender. It is not easy but anything worth having is never easy. The result of surrendering is having more Faith. Today maybe you can take that first step by saying aloud "Lord I don't want control anymore, I surrender all to you." Then just keep praying throughout your day and let Faith step in.
