Tests
When you understand that life is a test, you realize that nothing is insignificant in your life. Psalm 3:3 But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. You know what I love best about Psalm 3:3? It is being able to get that visual of God putting his hand underneath my chin and him lifting up my head. Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. This scripture gives me the visual of God placing his arms around me in a great big hug. We all know that the “tests” in this life can be extreme in nature we have our high highs and our low lows and every emotion in the middle. James 5:13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.
Life is a test, life is a trust, and life is a temporary assignment. Real security can only be found in that which can never be taken from you - your relationship with God. 1 Corinthians 10:13 God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out. 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. Romans 5:3-4 More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. Isahia 43:2 When you pass thru the waters, I will be with you; and thru the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk thru the fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. Deuteronomy 31:8 It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. Please understand this truth because he makes the promise again in Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I believe in Psalm 56:3 when I am afraid, I put my trust in you. Psalm 34:4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Luke 11:9 And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. If you are constant in prayer than you can find comfort in Psalm 112:7 He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord, Psalm 56:3 when I am afraid I put my trust in you. Hebrews 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have for he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good,a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him, Psalm 5:11 But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. 2 Corinthians 7:4 I am acting with great boldness toward you; I have great pride in you; I am filled with comfort. In all our affliction I am overflowing with Joy. God responds Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Psalm 100:2 Serve the lord with gladness. Come into his presence with singing and he promises that John 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. Through all of life’s “tests” and “trials” kneel in prayer. Open up your Bible and search God’s promises. The Bible is Gods living word, seek and you will find. He will show up. May God bless you richly on your journey.
