Godly Instructions

I may be the only Bible some people will ever read.

Colossians 3:23-24 Work hard and cheerfully at all you do, just as though you were working for the Lord....remember that it is the Lord Christ who is going to pay you, giving you your full portion of all he owns. He is the one you are really working for.

Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.

Ephesians 5:12 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love. Just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Colossians 3:12-14 Therefore as Gods chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Romans 15:7 Accept one another just as Christ accepted you in order to bring praise to God.

Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer.

These 7 verses, to me, are about how to be the Bible some people will ever read. As children of God we need to know how to act and how to show Gods love in EVERYTHING we do. Is it always easy....no but learn how to do it until you don't even have to think about it anymore. It will just come natural as you walk through life and meet new people. God doesn't expect us to be perfect he just expects us to try.
