My prayer

I was reading my Bible and ran across some very meaningful verses to me.

1Peter 4:8-10 Most important of all continue to show deep love for each other, for love makes up for many of your faults. God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others Gods many kinds of blessings.
1Peter 4:19 So if you are suffering according to God's will, keep on doing what is right and trust yourself to the God who made you for he will never fail you.
1Peter 5:7-11 Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you. Be careful - watch out for attacks from Satan, your great enemy, he prowls around like a hungry, roaring lion, looking for some victim to tear apart. Stand firm when he attacks. Trust the Lord, and remember that other chrisitians all around the world are going through these sufferings too. After you have suffered a little while, our God, who is full of kindness through Christ, will give you his eternal glory. He personally will come and pick you up, and set you firmly in place, and make you stronger than ever. To him be all power over all things, forever and ever Amen.

God is so good. There are going to be troubles of all kinds in life but if during those troubles we can refocus back on God by reading our Bible and going to him in prayer. It makes all the difference. I have seen God work in amazing ways in my life and in the lives of others that I love. I have no doubt of his existence. I pray....Lord Jesus, don't ever let me get so wrapped up in serving you that I stop watching for you. Remind me that resistance and hardship sometimes come to help me see that your purposes have less to do with what I accomplish and more to do with what you accomplish in and through me. Help me trust that whatever you need to do to accomplish your purposes in my life, you will do, and at the perfect moment. Teach me to count on you even when I can't see you.
